Historic Trip To Bear Roots Brewing Company- Vista, CA
I made beer history for myself yesterday: I met a huge personal goal that took me over a year to complete.
Although it was a small sample, I have now tasted beer at every craft brewery in San Diego County. Bear Roots Brewing was the latest. Watch for their Grand Opening December 18th-19th.
“What have you learned from your quest?” I hear you cry. So far, two things!
One- Michael Jackson, “The Beer Hunter” was right when he said, “Taste beers where they were made and they taste like nothing else in the world.”
Two- San Diego County’s smaller breweries are making the best beers. The smaller the brewery, the tastier the beer.
Now that I have checked off all the breweries on the current list, I will be watching West Coaster’s “Breweries Planned” list so I can continue to go with the flow of tasting beer at every brewery in the county. Currently, there are 41 on that list, and I will visit each one as they open for tasting.
So, check back when you can, or better yet, sign up to follow my blog and receive the latest posts. If you “fancy” craft beer and beer food like I do, you’ll enjoy my beer tripping odyssey. I’m here for the beer and to inspire beer travelers to explore San Diego’s boundless beer scene.Share This:
